Spices: Consider adding peppercorns, mustard seed, fennel seed, coriander seed, caraway seed, cumin seed, cloves, cinnamon sticks, star anise, and dried chilies.

400 g White balsamic vinegar
250 g Water
60 g Sugar
15 g Salt
Place the vinegar, water, salt, and sugar in a small saucepan over high heat. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the salt and sugar. Refrigerate pickling liquid.
