In 2022, Hugh Allen, a long-time Crumpler user, approached the brand with a unique request — to create a knife bag for chefs, better than anything on the market, in true Crumpler style. Dave, the founder, and owner of Crumpler, eagerly accepted the challenge, saying, “Let’s do it when the time’s right!” Soon after, the journey began with a meticulous design process focusing on essential features and efficiency.

Crumpler and Hugh rigorously tested each prototype to refine every detail of the 2049 Knife Bag.

Crafted with the finest materials: The 2049 Knife Bag features a durable and water—resistant Cordura Fabric designed to withstand the rigors of a busy kitchen. Ample Storage: The bag’s interior is organised with nine individual knife pockets, ensuring knives are safely secured during transport. It also includes two additional pockets for other kitchen tools. For the first time in any knife bag, there’s a secure first-aid pocket on the inside flap (band-aids included).
